Marcus Allback scores the 2000th goal in FIFA World Cup


Marcus Allback's goal in the drawn match between England and Sweden was Fifa World Cup's 2000th goal.

It is 76 years after France's Lucien Laurent fired the first goal on 13th July 1930 in Montevideo.


Marcus Allback's Profile:

Allback is often used as a substitute striker because of his ability to sneak a goal near the end of a game and he has done this for the national team at important times in the past.
He uses his strength in the penalty area to hold off defenders and has a powerful shot.
"Mackan" is based at FC Copenhagen in Denmark and has played in the Netherlands, England and Sweden.
Allback featured in the 2002 FIFA World Cup and the 2004 UEFA European Championship.
